Eddie MacDonald began racing at the age of 15 when he competed in his first hobby stock race at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH. From there, he went on to complete two full seasons in the hobby stock division before moving on to the NASCAR Late Model Series. Eddie won numerous races in his Late Model and finished 2nd in the championship points standings three years in a row.
